Two Merrells: Art on Paper and Fabric
"Two Merrells: Art on Paper and Fabric," features works by mother-in-law/daughter-in-law team of Peggy Merrell and Judy Merrell, both passionate artists who started painting later in life. The show will feature watercolors by Peggy Merrell and funky stitched and painted wall quilts by Judy Merrell. The show opens Sunday November 1st with an artist meet-and-greet and runs through November 30, 2009.

All Fired Up
"All Fired Up" features works by clay artists Ellen Pine Litwin of East Oak Lane and Louise Sussman of Melrose Park. Dwelling: Personal Space and the Self: Works on Paper

Johnny Appleseed Festival
The 5th annual Johnny Appleseed Festival will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 10am to 4pm. The Festival features: children's arts and crafts, story-telling by "Johnny Appleseed," art activities, cider-making with antique apple press, children's clothesline art show, apple tree planting, apple dessert sale; Free. For more information contact 215-947-9882. The festival is also partnering this year with the WhirlyBird CycloCross Race at Bryn Athyn College.
