I fell in love with ceramics when we lived in San Francisco, while taking my first course! I have now been making pottery for several decades. For me, the process is as important as the product. In addition, I feel very strongly about making art available to anyone.

I love making functional stoneware that people can use. I make casseroles, bowls, platters, mugs, and tea pots – anything that can hold food. Special for Orchard Artworks are bowls with inspirational quotes, and apple bakers. Of course, all of my pieces are safe for use with any food, and may be safely put into the dishwasher, oven, or microwave.

In addition to Orchard Artworks, I am active in the Cheltenham Clay Guild and exhibitions at the Cheltenham Art Center (www.cheltenhamarts.org). My pieces can also be found at the Woodmere Museum (www.woodmereartmuseum.org).
