The
primary focus of my work in clay is the functional pot, formed on the
wheel. The plastic quality of stoneware clay in particular, that freezes
a moment in time, has led me to use forms that are often altered after
throwing. This creates variations in the surface that invites interaction
between the surface of the pot when fired. |
